ARE YOU MARRIED ?!

காரணம் கேட்டதற்கு, அது தான் நரகத்தை பூமியில் அனுபவச்சி விட்டோமே என்று ஒரு போடு போட்டான்.

திருமணம் சொர்க்கத்தில் நிச்சயுக்கப்படுதோ இல்லையோ, ஆனால் திருமணம் புரிந்தவர்களுக்கு சொர்க்கம் நிச்சயமாம்.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE - Part : 2

Must Read Carefully. It can be happen with anyone of Us..!!

Her handbag which contained her Mobile, Credit card, Purse and etc.... was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her hubby, telling him that incident happened.

Husband says "I've just received your SMS asking about your card's Pin number. And I've replied a little while ago". .

When they rushed down to the bank. Bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn.

The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to sms "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 mins he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account and escaped.

Moral of the lesson :-

Do not disclose the relationship between YOU and the people in your CONTACT list in the Cellphone. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Jaanu, Dad, Mum etc.................. and very importantly, when SENSITIVE / CONFIDENTIAL info is being asked thru SMS......., better to CONFIRM it by CALLING back.

லைலத்துல் கத்ரின் சிறப்புகள்

நிச்சயமாக நாம் அதை (குர்ஆனை) கண்ணியமிக்க (லைலத்துல் கத்ர்) என்ற இரவில் இறக்கினோம். மேலும் கண்ணியமிக்க இரவு என்ன என்பதை உமக்கு அறிவித்தது எது? கண்ணியமிக்க (அந்த) இரவு ஆயிரம் மாதங்களை விட மிக்க மேலானதாகும். அதில் மலக்குகளும், ஆன்மாவும் (ஜிப்ரயீலும்) தம் இறைவனின் கட்டளையின் படி (நடைபெற வேண்டிய) சகல காரியங்களுடன் இறங்குகின்றனர். சாந்தி (நிலவியிருக்கும்) அது விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை இருக்கும்.

(அல்குர்ஆன் 97:1,5)

1) "அல்லாஹ்வை ஈமான் கொண்டவராகவும், நன்மையை எதிர்பார்த்தவராகவும் ரமளான் மாதத்தில் யார் நோன்பு நோற்கின்றாரோ அவரின் முன் சென்ற பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படும். லைலத்துல் கத்ர் இரவில் அல்லாஹ்வை ஈமான் கொண்டவராகவும் நன்மையை எதிர்பார்த்தவராகவும் யார் நின்று வணங்குகின்றாரோ அவரின் முன் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படும்" என நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள். (ஆதாரம் : புகாரி)

2) "ரமளான் மாதத்தின் கடைசிப் பத்தின் ஒற்றைப்படை நாட்களில் லைலத்துல் கத்ரின் இரவை தேடிப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்" என நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள். (ஆதாரம்: புகாரி)

3) நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் எங்களுக்கு லைலத்துல் கத்ரின் இரவை அறிவித்துக் கொடுப்பதற்காக வெளியில் வந்தார்கள். அப்போது இரண்டு பேர் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் சண்டை போட்டுக் கொண்டார்கள். அப்போது நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள். "லைலத்துல் கத்ரின் இரவை உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்துக் கொடுப்பதற்காக நான் வெளியாகி வந்தேன். இரண்டு பேர் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் சண்டையிட்டுக் கொண்டதின் காரணமாக அல்லாஹ் அதை பற்றிய செய்தியை உயர்த்தி விட்டான். அது உங்களுக்கு நலவாக இருக்கக் கூடும்" என்றார்கள். "ஆகவே, அதை இருபத்தி ஒன்று, இருபத்தி மூன்று, இருபத்தி ஐந்து, இருபத்தி ஏழு, இருபத்தி ஒன்பது ஆகிய நாட்களில் தேடிப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளுங்கள்" என நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள். (ஆதாரம்: புகாரி)

4) அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதரே! லைலத்துல் கத்ரின் இரவை நான் அறிந்து கொண்டால் அதில் என்ன கூறவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டேன். இவ்வாறு கூறுமாறு நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفْوٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّيْ

அல்லாஹூம்ம இன்னக்க அஃப்வுன்

துஹிப்புல் அஃப்வ ஃபஉஃபு அன்னீ.

பொருள்: இறைவா! நிச்சயமாக நீ மன்னிக்கக்கூடியவன். மன்னிப்பை விரும்புகின்றாய். என்னை மன்னிப்பாயாக. (அறிவிப்பவர்: ஆயிஷா(ரலி) ஆதாரம்: திர்மிதி)

விளக்கம்: லைலத்துல் கத்ர் என்பது, ரமளான் மாதத்தின் கடைசிப்பத்தின் ஒற்றைப்படை நாட்களில் வரக்கூடிய ஓர் இரவிற்குச் சொல்லப்படும். இந்த இரவில் செய்யும் வணக்கத்திற்கு ஆயிரம் மாதங்கள் செய்யும் வணக்கத்திற்குக் கிடைக்கும் நன்மையை விட அதிக நன்மைகளை, அல்லாஹ் வழங்குகின்றான். அதாவது ஒரு இரவு செய்யும் அமலினால் 83 வருடங்கள் செய்யும் அமலுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் நன்மையை விட அதிக நன்மைகள் கிடைக்கின்றது. இதனால்தான் நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் அந்த இரவை அடைந்து கொள்வதற்காக நோன்பின் கடைசிப்; பத்து நாட்களில் இஃதிகாஃப் இருப்பார்கள். ‘83 வருடம் நாம் வாழ்வோமா?’ என்பதே கேள்விக்குறியானது! ஆனால் ஒரு இரவில் செய்யும் அமலுக்கு அவ்வளவு நன்மையை அல்லாஹ் நமக்கு அள்ளி வழங்குகின்றான். இந்த அரிய சந்தர்ப்பத்தை தவற விடாதீர்கள்.

ரமளான் மாதத்தின் மற்ற 20 நாட்களை விட கடைசிப் பத்து நாட்களில் நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் அதிக வணக்கத்தில் ஈடுபடுவார்கள். முன் பின் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்ட நபி (ஸல்) அவர்களே இப்படி அதிக அமல்கள் செய்திருக்கும் போது, நம்மைப் போன்றவர்கள் எவ்வளவு அதிகம் அமல்களில் ஈடுபட வேண்டும் என்பதை சிந்தித்துப் பாருங்கள்!

ஆகவே, இச்சிறப்பான இரவில் தொழுவது, குர்ஆன் ஒதுவது, திக்ர் செய்வது, பாவமன்னிப்புத் தேடுவது, தர்மம் செய்வது போன்ற நற்கருமங்களில் நாம் அதிகம் ஈடுபடவேண்டும்.

அல்லாஹ் நம் அனைவருக்கும் அந்த சிறப்பான இரவைப் பெற்று, நல் அமல்கள் புரிய வாய்ப்பளிப்பானாக.....!

English is the International Language

Clipped Words

Clipped words are words that are shortened forms of longer words.

Common clipped words are :

gym for "gymnasium,"
phone for "telephone,"
auto for "automobile,"
and photo for "photograph."

Avoid clipped words in formal English.

Comprise or Compose?

Comprise means "is made up of" or "consists of."

The whole comprises the parts.

Compose means "make up" or "make."

The parts compose the whole.

Incorrect: The rock is comprised of three minerals.
Correct: The rock is composed of three minerals.
Correct: The rock comprises three minerals.
Correct: Three minerals compose the rock.

If you are confused, just say, "The rock is made up of three minerals,"

or "Three minerals make up the rock."

Continual or Continuous?

Continual means "repeated again and again."

Continuous means "uninterrupted."

Examples: I was continually interrupted by the telephone.

It rained continuously for forty-eight hours.

Credible, Credulous, Creditable, and Related Words

Credible is believable. It could refer either to a story or a person. The adverb form is credibly. The noun form is credibility. The opposite is incredible, not able to be believed.

Credulous is gullible. A credulous person is apt to believe nearly anything even with little evidence. The noun form is credulity. The opposite is incredulous, refusing to believe, skeptical.

Creditable is having or deserving credit, praiseworthy. The noun forms are credit and creditability. The adverb form is creditably.

Cult or Occult?

These words are sometimes confused because the expression a cult often sounds like the word occult. Cult most commonly means a religious sect organized around a strong leader and requiring beliefs or commitments not typical of other related groups.

It can also refer to a following of a particular religious figure or icon within an organized religion or a fanatical following of a particular entertainer, athlete, film, television show, or historical figure. Cult is normally a noun, though it can be used as an adjective meaning "having a cult following" as in ia cult film. Occultliterally means "hidden" and generally refers to the pursuit of some kind of magic or secret supernatural knowledge or power. It is most often used as an adjective but is sometimes used as a noun. The verb to occult means "to hide from view," and is used most commonly in scientific or specialized fields such as astronomy, navigation, or optics.

Indeterminate or Indeterminable?

Indeterminate means "vague" or "unclear."

Indeterminable means "unable to find out or decide."

Both adjectives have similar roots, but the difference is in the suffix -able.

Judicious, Judicial, or Juridical?

All three words have similar roots, but judiciousapplies to human character in general.

Judicial and juridical are more specifically connected with matters of law.

Judicious means "wise, showing good judgment."

Judicial means "relating to courts of law or judges."

Juridical means, more specifically, "relating to the administration of justice."

Examples: He judiciously invested in mutual funds.

Using Just and Only

When using the word just as an adverb meaning "no more than,"

place it directly in front of the word it modifies.

Similarly, place the word only directly in front of the word it modifies.

Vague: Just give me three more days.
Correct: Give me just three more days.
Vague: I only have three dollars.
Correct: I have only three dollars.

THE CALMEST, COOLEST, CLEANEST CONTINENT IN THE GLOBE : ANTARCTICA

The search for the best observatory site in the world has lead to the discovery of what is thought to be the coldest, driest, calmest place on Earth — a place where no human is thought to have ever set foot.

To search for the perfect site to take pictures of the heavens, a U.S.-Australian research team combined data from satellites, ground stations and climate models in a study to assess the many factors that affect astronomy — cloud cover, temperature, sky-brightness, water vapor, wind speeds and atmospheric turbulence.

The researchers pinpointed a site, known simply as Ridge A, that is 13,297 feet (4,053 meters) high up on the Antarctic Plateau on the continent at the bottom of the world.

The study revealed that Ridge A has an average winter temperature of minus 94 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 70 degrees Celsius) and an extremely low amount of water in the air.
The site is also extremely calm, which means that there is very little of the atmospheric turbulence that elsewhere makes stars appear to twinkle.

"It's so calm that there's almost no wind or weather there at all," said study leader Will Saunders, of the Anglo-Australian Observatory in Australia.

All these elements combine to make the perfect recipe for an astronomical observation post: "The astronomical images taken at Ridge A should be at least three times sharper than at the best sites currently used by astronomers," Saunders said. "Because the sky there is so much darker and drier, it means that a modestly-sized telescope there would be as powerful as the largest telescopes anywhere else on earth."

The site would even be superior to the best existing observatories on high mountain tops in Hawaii and Chile, Saunders said. Researchers assert that a telescope at the site could take images nearly as good as those from the space-based Hubble telescope.

'முதல்வன்' கமல்ஹாஸன்...!

தமிழ் திரைப்படத் துறையினர் எப்போதெல்லாம் புதுமைகளுக்கும் விஞ்ஞான முயற்சிகளுக்கும் முட்டுக் கட்டை போடுகிறார்களோ அப்போதெல்லாம் அதை உடைத்தெறிவதில் முதலில் நிற்பவர் உலக நாயகன் கமல்ஹாஸன் தான்.

தொலைக்காட்சியே வேண்டாம் என்று கோஷம் போட்டு ஊர்வலம் போனார்கள் தமிழ் சினிமாக்காரர்கள். அன்று தன்னந்தனி கலைஞனாக நின்று, தொலைக்காட்சி எதிர்கால சினிமாவின் இன்னொரு வடிவம் என்றும், திரைப்பட வளர்ச்சிக்கு அதைச் சரியாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளத் தெரியாமல் கோஷம் போடுவது அறிவீனம் என்றும் ஓங்கிக் குரல் கொடுத்தவர் கமல். அவர் சொன்னது தான் நிஜமானது. இன்று தமிழ் சினிமாவுக்கு பெரும் உறுதுணையாக நிற்பவை தொலைக்காட்சிகள் தான். படத்தில் போட்ட முதலில் பெரும் பகுதியை இன்று தொலைக்காட்சிகள் தான் தருகின்றன, தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கு!

'திருட்டு விசிடி வரும் வரை ஏன் காத்திருக்கிறீர்கள்... நீங்களே உங்கள்படத்தை சிடியாகப் போட்டு அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக விற்று லாபம் சம்பாதித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.. தியேட்டராக இருந்தாலென்ன, சிடியாக இருந்தாலென்ன.. உங்கள் படத்தைக் காசு கொடுத்துப் பார்த்தால் சரிதானே. இது அதிக சினிமா எடுக்கவும் உதவும்' என்று உறைக்கும் படி கேட்டவரும் இவர் தான்.

எவ்வளவு ஸ்டில்கள் வேண்டுமோ வாங்கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், எத்தனை பேட்டிகள் வேண்டுமோ எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள் என தனது மீடியா மேனேஜர் நிகில் மூலம் தகவலும் அனுப்பி வைத்துள்ளார்.

அடுத்த கட்ட சினிமாவை வளர்த்தெடுக்க 'யுட்யூப்'பையும் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள் என தனது திரைக்கதை பயிற்சிப்பட்டறையில் புரட்சிக் குரல் எழுப்பிய கலைஞனல்லவா... தனது பேச்சை இன்று செயல்வடிவம் பெற வைத்துள்ளார்.

இன்று பெரும்பாலான இணையதளத்தைத் திறந்தால் முதலில் உங்களை வரவேற்பது கமலின் உன்னைப் போல் ஒருவன் முன்னோட்டக் காட்சி அல்லது பேட்டிகளாகத்தான் இருக்கும். இதில்கூட ஒரு சிறப்பைப் பாருங்கள்... உன்னைப் போல் ஒருவன் முன்னோட்டக் காட்சியில் ஒரு இடத்தில் போலீஸ் அதிகாரி மோகன்லால், தீவிரவாதியின் படத்தை பேக்ஸில் அனுப்புங்கள் என்று கூறி, அடுத்த கணமே, 'வேண்டாம்... இமெயில் பண்ணுங்கள்!' என்பார். அங்குதான் நிற்கிறார் 'இன்டர்நெட்' கமல்!

கலை செய்யத் தெரிந்திருந்தால் மட்டும் போதாது... அந்தக் கலையை அனைத்துத் தரப்பு மக்களிடமும் சரியாகக் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் அத்தனை உத்திகளையும் அறிந்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்பது கமலின் அழுத்தமான கருத்து.

கமலின் கருத்துக்கள் ஆரம்பத்தில் யோசிக்க வைக்கும்... வாதங்கள் கிளப்பும்... இறுதியில் அவையே ஜெயிக்கும்... அவரது படங்களைப் போலவே!
